Cross Country Brasov
This 8 day tour for well trained bikers takes us to Bucegi Natural Park and Piatra Craiului National Park, trails and single tracks around Brasov city and Postavaru Massif. During this tour we will see mountain lakes, waterfalls and visit caves.
Accommodation is provided in chalets and boarding houses.
Day 1
Meet at the airport and transfer to Brasov City.
Accommodation: boarding house, Brasov.
Day 2
We start to bike from Brasov to Solomon’s Rocks, climb to Poiana Brasov, descend to Rasnov and finish the day climbing to Predeal.
Distance: 42 km
Elevation gain: 855+ m
Accommodation: boarding house, Predeal.
Day 3
From Predeal we bike to Busteni following Azuga Valley, further to Diham Chalet and return to Busteni.
Distance: 60 km
Elevation gain: 900+ m
Accommodation: boarding house, Busteni.
Day 4
Transfer to Sinaia. From Sinaia we bike passing Dichiu Saddle up to Padina Chalet. During this day we visit Peles Castle, the former summer residence of Romania’s kings.

Elevation gain: 900+ m
Accommodation: Padina Chalet.
Day 5
This day we start from Padina Chalet biking up to Strunga Saddle and after that follow a long descent to Fundata Village. On the way we will visit La Chisatori Waterfall.
Distance: 41 km
Elevation gain: 470+ m
Accommodation: boarding house, Fundata.
Day 6
From Fundata we bike to Pestera, an authentic mountain village from Bran area, continue to Piatra Craiului National Park and descend to Dambovicioara Gorges. The day ends with a climb back to Fundata Village. During this day we visit Dambovicioara Cave.

Elevation gain: 1150+ m

Day 7
Transfer to Brasov visiting on the way Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress.
Day 8
Transfer to the airport.
